Civil Engineer specialising in Structural Design

P&F Engineering is looking to strengthen its Lisbon team with a Civil Engineer to join the Structural Design department.
We are looking for someone with technical skills, a sense of responsibility and a willingness to take part in a variety of projects, overseeing their development from the design stage through to implementation.
Main responsabilities
- Design of reinforced concrete and steel structures projects;
- Design, sizing and verification of structural solutions;
- Preparation of written and drawn documents, including descriptive reports, calculations, construction details and bills of quantities;
- Analysis and coordination of the structural design with the architectural design and other disciplines;
- Technical support during the construction phase and responding to enquiries;
- Attendance at coordination meetings with clients, architects and other stakeholders;
- Compliance with applicable regulations and technical standards;
Desired Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialisation in Structures;
- Professional experience in structural design (preferred);
- Knowledge of Revit and structural analysis software will be an advantage;
- We value experience in BIM methodology
- Organisational skills, independence and attention to detail;
- Good communication and teamwork skills;
- A sense of responsibility and the ability to meet deadlines;
